^^ Yeah. You can see the difference if you watch a soccer game being played at walmart. But of course I am sure there are more than just hertz involved...
@Neodude: be careful with VNC. If you are on an open network, a wireless router, or leave your computer open and alone for just a couple seconds.. Your vnc pass can be stolen and decrypted.
Cain or John the ripper can do the decryption lifting. Also if upload with a laptop.. Don't leave it somewhere.. http://citp.princeton.edu/memory
Now for the reason I came to the Random thread:
I was playing around with the calculator... and...

I don't think it looks cool when the front and back has the same picture.
Quick question. When buying video cables, the shorter the better right?

I would think so. I mean if it's for just replay (television for example) it really doesn't matter. Because once the feed starts the rest comes in at a steady stream.
But for computer gaming or such. I would think it MIGHT have some difference. The length that it actually makes a difference? Eh.. Not sure.
Also:
@neo: You should be ok, as long as you login from secure locations.
For example, a locked down lan.
Don't be updating your site via starbucks or your neighbors router.
If you use a wireless router follow two rules:
1. It's your own.
2. It's wpa2 encrypted.

That's cool. I just recently got a Samsung Impression with the AMOLED display and slide-out qwerty keyboard. Now that's a pimp's phone...
But I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying real hard... to be the Shepherd.
How good is the Amoled screen?
